About the Event

I’m a world. You’re a world. Across time, people have created many worlds. Arteries are about creating a world where many worlds fit. on one earth.

Our bodies are wise, carrying our stories, those of our ancestors. Come to a day of unfurling the stories our bodies tell, if we can forget our ‘mind chatter’ & listen...

Learning to re-shape our future. Be good ancestors.

choose your medicine:

(i) movement ÷ breath // with Saara from Healing Justice London

(Re) connecting to our inner knowing and deep wisdom within through gentle movement and breathing exercises.

(ii) trees // with Lani Parker & Rashné Limki

Trees grow outwards, drawing nutrients from the roots, carrying them through the trunk. They protect themselves by allowing parts of themselves to lay dormant, delaying rejuvenation, whilst enabling other parts to blossom outwards. In this workshop we will explore what makes change happen. Using knowledge of how a tree grows, we will explore our place in the system and how we interact with those located elsewhere within it. We hope to generate new insights about how we can strengthen movement(s) and ourselves within them.

(iii) foodways // with Anna Lau, Mama D & Million Belay. Sharing stories with each other and from projects around the world, we explore how people are cultivating ways of growing and sharing food that care for people and the earth. And ways of getting involved.
